Local man Cameron Mackintosh is to take part in an Endurance Walk (Parish Walk) on the Isle of Man, Cameron has to complete a gruelling 85 mile race in 24 hours.

Burghead Primary School are doing some fundraising at their annual fete for Logan.  It is on Saturday 20th June 2009 from 11am - 1pm.

The CID department at Elgin Police Office are rasing money for Logan's Fund by completing a charity bicycle ride.  The event will take place on 17th July from Aviemore to Spey Bay following the Speyside Way (approx 70 miles).

Rock star Peter Doherty donated an autographed backstage pass from a show he performed at London Troxy on 29 March 2009. He donated the item to be auctioned to help raise money for Logan's treatment. Peter was saddened to hear about Logan's death and wished the auction to go ahead in his memory and to help raise Neuroblastoma awareness and for the money raised to be donated to Logan's Fund. A bid of £101 on e-bay secured the item, so thank you to the lucky bidder and than you Peter for your kindness.

Pete Docherty has donated a signed backstage pass from a show he did at London Troxy on 29 March 2009 to be auctioned for Logan's Fund. The auction went live last night (06/09/09) and runs until this Sunday - 13th.

Garry Bowie will attempt to squat 14 tonnes of weights on his back within 1 hour. He will do this by lifting a weight of 70 kilos 200 times within the hour time limit he has set.

This is a superhuman attempt that can only be truly appreciated by witnessing.

70 kilos is the weight of an average sized man.

14 tonnes is the equivalent weight of 7 cars or 2 fully developed African Elephants!

This event takes place at Focus Martial Arts & Fitness Studio, 172 High Street, Elgin.

Daniel Strong Charity Match - Buckie Thistle v Inverness Caledonian - Victoria Park, Buckie. 7.30pm. Proceeds from the match go to the Daniel Strong Charity Account to be divided between Clic Sargent, CLASP, The Archie Foundation and Ward 7 of Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital. Logans Fund FC will be taking penalties at Half Time in Fancy Dress to raise Neuroblastoma Awareness and publicise Logan's Family Fun Day.

 A big thank you to Daniel and his parents and Buckie FC for the opportunity for Tweety Pie, Sylvester, Bugs Bunny, Taz of Tazmania and Scooby Doo and Daniel to take penalties against Buckie goalkeeper Kevin Main. Denise & Stuart Evans will be walking a 3 mile circuit of Lossiemouth repetitively from mid-day on Saturday 3rd September for 24 hours until Sunday 4th September. They aim to walk 150, 000 steps each and will keep going past the 24 hour mark if this target is not reached.

They are raising money for Logan's Fund, Oxfam Somalia Appeal, Help for Heroes and Scottish Staffie Rescue. You can sponsor all 4 charities or pick the ones of your choosing. If you wish to sponsor them and benefit Logan's Fund you can complete the online sponsor form and make a payment via our 'Donations' page. Similarly you can do this with any of the other chosen charites via their own websites. If you wish to share your sponsorship evenly you can sponsor Denise and Steuart direct and they will divide the donation up for you.

The event will start at Pitgaveny Quay outside Harbour Lights tearoom. Hopefully all the charities will be represented to see them off and for donations to be made on the day.

Logan's Fund presents a family 'Halloween Ball in the Hall' at Lossiemouth Town Hall on Saturday 29th October from 7pm until midnight.

Adults are £5 at door and entry for anyone under 18 is free although must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Included in the price is a Halloween themed buffet.

Entertainment includes Live Music, Disco, Games and prizes and other ghostly goings on!

Please dress to impress in scary outfits as there will be fancy dress prizes and we would like everyone to get into the 'spirit' (!) of the occasion.
